Personality[break]
Known for having an unusual sense of humor Tobin may come off as rude or bold to some as he doesn't typically ever think before speaking and can cross the line without realizing it. His mouth gets him into trouble especially when he sees something he doesn't agree with or deems unfair. The Shepard has a strong sense of justice and does not hesitate to stand up even if he is all alone on the matter. Tobin is a fun dog to be around and no matter where he goes his positive disposition always seems to rub off on others and it's hard to be mad at him for too long. He does have a soft spot for females and can be very flirtatious, sometimes on accident, but most always completely intentional. He is a lover and a fighter and when it comes down to it he isn't shy to put his fangs to work; Tobin can hold his own and what he lacks in speed he certainly makes up for in sheer strength.[break][break]
Appearance[break]
What most notice right away with the male is definitely his size, Tobin is larger than most for his breed standing at approximately 75cm and weighing a whopping hundred pounds. It is a mix of muscle and maybe just one or two too many hearty meals. His coat is long and thick mostly black but has flares of a lighter brown tossed in around his form and around his golden orbs making them seem even richer. [break][break]
Back story[break]
Tobin was the product of a quick fling and not one that was very welcomed either in the eyes of his previous owner. When he and his six siblings were born his mother was fairly clueless as to what exactly she was supposed to do as it was her first litter and she was barely a year old herself at the time. His father was never in the picture and being a stray he had no intentions of sticking around either. Two of his siblings ended up dying from being malnourished and the pups that remained were lucky to make it to eight weeks of age. As soon as they could leave their mother her owner was making sure that found other homes all except for Tobin however, he had been the largest of the siblings and for one reason or another, the owner had grown attached to him.[break][break]
Unbeknownst to Tobin, the man had plans for him once he reached a certain age and once the Shepard was old enough he was used as a sire. He thought it was perfectly normal and rather enjoyed fulfilling his master's orders until one female gave him the go around and wanted nothing to do with him. It baffled and confused him when she all but attacked him for getting within even a tail's length away from her. She opened his eyes to what he was doing and exposed him to a new light which caused him to rethink things. It was wrong to breed with someone one didn't love and to abandon pups that would grow up without a father, just like he had. He wanted nothing to do with the life he was living and knew he had to change it.[break][break]
That night once his master was asleep he said his farewell to his mother who despite not wanting to say goodbye to her only son encouraged him to go do what he felt was right and follow his heart. He begged for her to go with him but she was reluctant and remained loyal to the man that they belonged to. Tobin dug a hole right under that fence and once he was free he took off and didn't look back. He had no clue where he was going but he'd figure that out along the way; he just kept running and running.
