Gender: Female Orientation: Heterosexual Breed: Caucasian Ovcharka Mate: None Kin: None Appearance Bred to withstand the frigid temperatures of mountain peaks Thanatos has a long, shaggy coat consisting of a tan to medium brown fluffy undercoat and a black outer coat with a big patch of creamy white on her chest, her face mostly black with small patches of medium brown all around her deep amber eyes, her ears were cropped when she was young to keep injuries to a minimum when fighting with her siblings. She is heavy boned and a large specimen of the breed standing in at 31 inches at the shoulder and weighing around 159lbs. Her weight is mostly muscle and bone with lots of fur making her appear a lot denser than her physical appearance leads. She is built for strength over speed when it comes to tussles, powering over her opponent and making them submit. Personality She is very loving and caring when in the presence of her pack and family, although anyone outside of it will be greeted with an aloof disposition and if considered a threat becomes fiercely defensive of them. Her protectiveness towards her people has lead to altercations more than a handful of times. Despite the innate nature to protect and guard Thanatos has an independent streak where she'll go off and do her own thing. Thanatos is also dominant towards other females and will often start an altercation if they have a disagreement and has a high prey drive, leading her to chase and hunt small animals. History By the time she and her siblings were several months old they were already out in the pastures with their parents and their family made up of sheep learning how to properly circle the herd and watch out for any predators that may be trying to sneak a cheap meal. The farmers would catch Thanatos chasing around the sheep and nipping at their ankles and legs whenever boredom struck or they moved too quickly, leading her to be taken away from the pack and put through training again in order to hopefully get rid of that behavior. After several months of failed corrective training the farmer had tried everything he could think of and had given up hope, deciding one day to take Thanatos further down the mountain and set her free. |
